Running a job is free. You pay for a job only when you unlock its figures and pack, in credits from your firm's balance. One credit is £1. A Self Assessment job is 20 credits, VAT 25, MTD 25 and Accounts 50, whatever its size. The full price list is on Pricing.

Yes, on request. A Partner or Admin presses "Ask for a free trial" on the dashboard, at the end of setting up your firm, or on Settings, Job balance, and confirms. The Vedas team then turns on your firm's first job of each type (Self Assessment, VAT, MTD and Accounts) free. Until the trial is on, each job takes its credits from your balance when you unlock it, and the job page shows how many before you start.

No. You pay by the job, when you unlock it, like paying a junior for each piece of work.

Before you start a job, its page shows what unlocking the result will take and your firm's balance. If the balance is too low, "Start job" waits until a Partner or Admin buys credits. Nothing is taken when you start: the credits are taken when you unlock.

A Partner or Admin buys credits by card on Settings, Credit, Buy credits. A top-up is £100 for 100 credits, £250 for 250, £500 for 550 or £1,000 for 1,200. No VAT is charged. An Accountant asks a Partner or Admin.

Adding documents to a job, or changing an answer, after you unlock it re-runs the job for 5 credits. Vedas shows the price before it re-runs. Before you unlock, changes cost nothing.

A job you haven't unlocked costs nothing to cancel. A job you've unlocked isn't refunded if you cancel it. If a job stops with an error, press "Try again". It costs nothing.

We may refund a credit pack. We decide each request. Email hello@vedas.cloud and say which pack. If we refund all or part of a pack, the matching share of its credits comes off your balance. A pack you have partly used is refunded for the unused share, and the balance can then fall below zero. The refund goes back to the card you paid with, and its credit note shows on Settings, Job balance. If you plan to close your account, ask before you close it.

This is about packs you bought. A job you've unlocked isn't refunded, as the answer above says.

A firm can leave only a limited number of started jobs locked at once. To start another, unlock or cancel one.
