Subprocessors
These companies process data for Vedas. We send no email to your clients, and we file nothing: you send and file.
| Company | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and file storage: jobs, client documents, working papers and memory. | London, UK (eu-west-2) |
| Railway | Runs the web app and the worker that prepares jobs. | Netherlands, EU (europe-west4) |
| OpenRouter | Routes every request to the AI models. Vedas uses AI models via OpenRouter with zero data retention on every request, and training on our data is refused. | United States (routing only, nothing kept) |
| Microsoft Azure (through OpenRouter) | Runs the AI models that read your documents in full, including amounts, dates and names, and record the lines and figures on them. They also work through some jobs, write some question and email wording, and work out what each account in a firm's own chart of accounts means, from its code and name. EU endpoint only, with no fallback. | EU |
| Google Cloud Vertex AI (through OpenRouter) | Runs the AI models that work through most jobs. They see your documents in full, including amounts, dates and names, and work out the figures, the working papers and the questions for you. EU endpoint only, with no fallback. | EU |
| File sorting model (through OpenRouter) | Sorts each uploaded file from a short sample of its text, with the client's name and what the business does. Amounts, dates and other digits in the sample are masked before it is sent. | Zero data retention providers only |
| Resend | Sends Vedas's own transactional email to your firm's people: sign-in links and invitations. It receives the recipient's email address and the message; never client documents or figures. | Ireland, EU (eu-west-1) |
| Tally | The feedback and help form behind the Feedback button: what you type or attach, the page it was sent from, and for a firm's own people the firm and job ids. No names or emails unless you type them. | Belgium, EU (data stored in Europe) |
Vedas also reads two public sources directly: Companies House (what a company does) and GOV.UK (HMRC guidance). We send them only a company's name as your documents print it, or a fixed guidance topic. They are public registers, not processors: they receive no client documents, amounts, dates or personal details.
