AI use
How Vedas uses AI, and where people stay in charge.
Does Vedas use AI?
Yes. Vedas uses AI models to read your clients' documents and to draft work: sorting files, reading lines and figures, suggesting codes, and wording questions and client emails.
Code computes every figure. No figure in a pack comes from a model's arithmetic.
Your firm's accountant reviews the work and signs it off. Vedas files nothing and sends nothing to HMRC or your clients.
Can an AI make decisions about my clients?
No decision with a legal or similar effect is made by AI alone. The AI suggests, code computes, and your accountant decides. Anything unclear comes to you as a question.
Which AI models does Vedas use?
Vedas can change models as better ones arrive, so we don't name them. Every model must meet the same rules: zero data retention, no training on your data, and for the models that read documents, hosting in the EU. The Subprocessors page lists the companies that run them.
How does the Help search work?
The Help search uses an AI model to pick the help section that best answers your question. It shows our own help text and a link to it. It never writes an answer of its own and keeps no history. Digits in your question are hidden before it's sent, under zero data retention. Please don't type client names or personal details into it.
